Audrey Armstrong
Audrey Armstrong (sometimes credited as Thomas Armstrong, which is her previous name) is a writer and occasional essayist, whose most prominent fanfiction work is The Ninth Doctor Adventures, of which she is the creator and head-writer. She has also contributed to the Monthly Range.

Influences and style
Audrey’s writing style is most influenced by the work of Douglas Adams and J.K. Rowling, both of whom were formative in Audrey’s young days for introducing her to writing. In more recent years, various Doctor Who writers, such as Steven Moffat, have had a large influence on how Audrey writes.
She has a love of satire, which is usually among her is favourite thing to write. Her stories usually tend to have a satirical slant of some kind, regardless of how small, and most often, there is political or social satire involved.
Her plots tend to focus more on character-based motivations, rather than strictly a linear story. This is done to varying degrees of success, but Audrey finds that she enjoys writing about characters far more than about plots either way.
Audrey is able to find most of her writing inspiration by listening to music, which helps the process for her.
Views
Audrey is left-wing and considers herself fairly non-religious.
Personal life
In her spare time, Audrey can be found mostly at home, indulging on all things Doctor Who while simultaneously listening to music. Among her favourite artists include the Electric Light Orchestra, The Bangles, Billy Joel, and ABBA. Disco music is another genre she enjoys. Alongside these, and writing, Audrey enjoys knowing everything there is to possibly know about steam locomotives and railway history.
Audrey lives in Toronto, Canada, and has done so for her entire life, with no immediate plans to settle elsewhere, unless Trump decides to invade Canada or something.
